Email from my Sponsor Counsellor in Australia!

I was put in touch with my Sponsor Counsellor in Western Australia and he sent me an email letting me know what to expect, and it sounds amazing!!! Getting very excited for my trip! I am finding myself very busy between working 3 jobs and volunteering with several committees! Looking to book my flight in the next few weeks.

Email from Western Australia, re: Greg James:

Attadale is a great suburb located on the Swan River between Perth and Fremantle, a peaceful place with spectacular views back to the CBD of Perth, if you can afford it. The real people (us) live a couple of streets back and have to walk to get a view. The Attadale Club has about 35 members and was the club of the year in 2009.

Bunbury is located at the beginning of the Margaret River wine region. The whole wine region trades as Margaret River but most of the wineries are located in other Shires. However from Bunbury south is the tourist “playground”. I am sure we can give you a “locals” look around. Some of the best locations are not always on the map.

Apart from wine, beer, restaurants and “tourist things” the ocean provides an abundance of fish, crabs, lobster, prawns all can be caught by amateurs from a boat. If you like to surf, we have some of the best waves in the world and without a doubt the best beaches.

Perth (Freo, short for Fremantle) has perfect white sandy beaches within the metropolitan area, from safe places to swim to a good surf break. A ten minute car ride or a ten minute walk from Fremantle. All water sports are popular in the summer. The university is located in the cafe strip at Freo so it is not far for a coffee or a meal.
